Hi folks any help on this would be appreciated:

Using the Paragon Recovery Disc (RCD) Version 8.5.1

OS: XP Home Basic SP2 (new install)
Hardware
Motherboard: Asus
Processor: Pentium
Memory: 1 G
Optical Drive: #1 Asus CD/DVD Player (Master IDE1)
Optical Drive: #2 Iomega CD Recorder/Player (Slave IDE1)
Hard Drive: #1 Maxtor 30 G (contains the installed OS) (Master IDE0)
Hard Drive: #2 Maxtor 30 G (Slave IDE0)

Procedure:

1. Placed the "Paragon 8.5.1 RCD" CD disc in Optical Drive #1 (Asus) and booted computer.
2. Followed procedure to copy image to CD/DVD. Everything at default settings.
3. Clicked "Burn" and applied pending event.
4. Tray on Optical Drive #2 CD burner (Iomega) opened up and asked for media
5. Placed blank media (Sony CD-R) disc into tray and clicked OK.
6. Tray ejected right away and "Media not valid"

I tried this several times with different CD-R's with no results.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Mixer,
it is possible that you are trying to burn to the same CD you have booted from. Eject the Recovery CD (it is not necessary after the product loaded completely) and then insert blank CD drive into the same CD burning device. When devices are unmounted it is hard to choose correct one in Linux interface. I would suggest you trying the steps above.
