View Full Version : New Disk size mismatch in Vista

I have used drive copy to copy a 40 Gb drive onto a 400 Gb drive.
In windows explorer (vista) the new drive (C:) is showm as a total size of 37.2 Gb with free space of 10.3 Gb ??. However, the disk management section reports a C: drive of 372.61 Gb with one healthy primary partition. If I try to shrink that partition it reports that there is 381551 Mb before shrink but says there is no available shrink space. Everything works OK, but I'm unsure how to get the explorer to register the correct disk size or how to further partition this disk.
Thanks

Hello kneebone,

update you version of Drive Copy to the latest build, I have read earlier, that such issue can be reproduced on 1681 build from time to time.

Best regards,
